Installation

Installation can be completed using ordinary fabrication or hand tools, depending on your mounting location and selected installation method.

  1. Choose a mounting location with enough space for the carrier and room to insert and remove every bottle.
  2. Make sure the mounting surface can support the weight of the carrier when fully loaded.
  3. Position the carrier and mark the mounting-hole locations.
  4. Drill the required mounting holes or prepare the surface for welding, depending on your installation method.
  5. Secure the carrier using appropriate high-strength hardware including washers or a qualified welding method.
  6. Place the bottles and jugs into their designated compartments.
  7. Secure all bottle-retention pin before driving.
  8. Check the carrier and mounting hardware after the first trail ride and periodically thereafter.

Installation hardware should be selected for the mounting surface and intended use. Grade 8 or equivalent high-strength hardware is recommended for demanding vehicle-mounted applications.
